So, we did TeamLab borderless today. Rookie mistake of not packing snacks (you can’t eat in the galleries but there are lounges!), so I had a cracking headache for a lot of it. I was *so* looking forward to this, and ended up a bit meh on it? It was really, really loud. Not too crowded, we only waited half an hour to get in or so, but there was no dynamic variation: even the quiet rooms were focussed on a brightly backlit artwork, and had heaps of people in them. Like, I didn’t hate it. I’m glad we went, and lots of it was very beautiful: loved the room with the LED strings, the athletic forest and so on. The light sculpture room nearly had me from the noise and flashing light. Couldn’t manage the queue for the lantern room afterwards, so we missed that. It was fine? I feel like a grumpy curmudgeon, but I wanted to love it more than I did. #teamlabborderless
