I have so much to be grateful for this year. I feel like everything that happened has been happening for a reason and I continue to be surprised and comforted by the connections and outcomes. Regardless of all the good, I acknowledge that for many it’s been a trying year. It has been especially difficult when it comes to spending time and being physically close to loved ones. My brother lives in Tokyo and each year I usually take a trip to connect and be close to him. This year has been different. We were supposed to meet for the Tokyo Olympics, but obviously this couldn’t happen. I miss him a lot and we keep in touch over video chat, but it doesn’t compare to quality time together. This is from my last trip to Tokyo. He took me to see teamlab’s Borderless. It was an amazing experience combining my love of art and technology in an immersive 4D experience. With the holidays in full swing, I’m taking a moment to appreciate the people in my life and the time we have together. I miss a lot…
