I'd seen pictures of the Team Lab digital art museum shows on social media and wondered if the show itself might make for a good backdrop for what I was doing. I initially had reservations about shooting at this place because of the copyright considerations but after realizing that the place was marketed as an instagram trap where they openly encouraged visitors to take as many pictures as they wanted, I finally decided to bite the bullet and try it out after i'd seen some other dancers post photos of them dancing at the museum displays. The entire team lab show is literally a fest for the eyes. Everything about the display is meant to inspire awe but in truth if I would have felt very bored if I wasn't there to do my own thing, namely, making new art with existing art. This was likely because I felt visually overstimulated by the team lab show. It was all for the eyes. maybe a little for the ears but aside from that, all my other senses felt completely disengaged.
