A recording from the infamous teamLab Borderless exhibit in Tokyo, Japan. Of the 29 countries I’ve had the absolute privilege of traveling to, I’ve only been to 3 places I consider to be perfect: Jamaica, Scotland, and Japan. I could (and have) talk for hours about how absolutely impressive Japan is. The people are genuine and polite. Helpful and expressive. Creative and free-spirited. The food is incomparable. Made and presented with a glowing pride that’s embedded in the flavors. The landscape left me breathless. How could nature be this perfect? How could it not be manmade? There is accessibility for all. But if I were to sum up Japan in one word it would be “integrity”.
