#teamlabborderless is incredible! We went last year and it was even more amazing in person than I expected. I do have a few tips if you plan on visiting.1. But your tickets online in advance. It doesn’t sell out too quickly but it’s always good to be sure. Tickets release the first day of the month prior. Like if you’re looking for April 3, tickets go on sale March 1st (usually). 2. Tickets are not timed so you should queue up at 9:30 (they open at 10) and be one of the first people to take advantage of the space. 3. Go to the lantern room first. We heard that people were waiting for 2 hours to get in. We waited 2 minutes. 4. No backpacks are allowed but there are lockers that you can rent. So be prepared to do that if you need to. 5. Cell reception is non-existent which is good (no one talking on their phone – which is a no no in Japan) but if you rely on GoogleTranslate and you need help, make sure you know some basic Japanese. 6.
