Part 4 of 4 posts…. Hands down one of the best days & solo adventures I’ve ever had! ✨ I debated not going. I was tired… it was day 16 of travel and I flew out the next morning…. I knew it would be way crowded, take an hour by a packed subway train & quite the walk in freezing rain to get to & I almost didn’t go. But that voice inside overpowered the excuses and I’m SO thankful. Walking in was like entering another world. & as much I love doing things with others something about being solo was magical & transforming. I was in awe, in the moment and so connected with the universe the entire 3 hours I spent magically lost in this interactive art experience. I love traveling with him. We both travel the same way in that we don’t love being “tourists.” Obviously we do tourist things, but we both love finding parks that we read and draw in, eating at the places away from the main tourist hub, wandering random streets and figuring out how to use the local transit system! All things locals do in their day to day lives, because then it feels more like we live here then we are just visiting. ⠀•⠀With that said, it was lovely to live in Japan for the last couple weeks, we are flying home today and I must say it is a little bittersweet. We are excited to see our family and give our nieces and nephews their souvenirs and tell them about our adventures, but waking up Saturday not in Tokyo will hard ♥️✨ ⠀#copiousxjapan
